Amanda Bruce, PhD

Dr. Amanda Bruce received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University after completing an APA-accredited internship at the Boston VA Hospital. Clinically, Dr. Bruce has experience with psychoeducational and cognitive-behavioral interventions in a wide variety of patient populations (i.e. obesity, feeding problems, obstructive sleep apnea, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders). Her research is focused on using neuroimaging techniques, specifically functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), to better understand the brain's role in obesity. Dr. Bruce is currently conducting a study using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to examine children's brain activity to food and non-food logos.
