John Keighley’s work has been a valuable asset to fellow researchers in the fields of environmental health, oncology and stroke. Some of John’s current research interests are general linear models, computation statistics, and the usage of direct and indirect adjusted rates in cancer reporting. John has worked with Sue-Min Lai, Director of the Kansas Cancer Registry, as a programmer/statistician. His expertise as a SAS programmer has been useful to the Registry in creating reports and data analysis for the registry. John has also been utilized in other oncology-related grants/studies, such as a study on oral/pharyngeal cancer incidence and an investigation of brain cancer. Other researchers that John works with specialize in research areas such as engineering, smoking cessation, the genitourinary cancer working group, and gastroentology.
