Health
Having
been trained as a physician in Lahore, Pakistan, Niaman came
to the United States to advance his knowledge in public health.
He received his MPH at KU and now serves as an advisor and instructor
in that same graduate program. Students benefit from his expertise
in quantitative data management and analysis, research design
and development; and implementation and maintenance of databases
utilizing MS Access. Researchers benefit as well from his statistical
expertise in multiple areas, including descriptive and multi-variable
analyses using SAS. Niaman’s
primary research interests are in large secondary dataset analyses and the use
of information technology in health care settings.
